Timelapse of NBPS’ new School Based Health Center’s 6 modular units being lifted in place on the east campus of New Bedford High School . The modules, some weighing more than 26 tons and measuring about 12 ft in length, will be equipped to meet a spectrum of student healthcare needs. The Journal of School Health notes, “School-based health centers improve access to care, reduce absenteeism, and enhance academic performance, particularly among underserved populations.” | New Bedford Public School
