Context of 2nd pic:Apollo 1 was a NASA test mission that ended in tragedy on January 27, 1967, when a fire broke out inside the spacecraft during a ground test. The three astronauts aboard—Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee—died because the fire spread rapidly in the pure-oxygen cabin.
