The sixth locomotive in CSX’s new heritage series is here! Locomotive 1850, designed and painted at the CSX Locomotive Shop in Waycross, Georgia, honors the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. Originally chartered in 1850, the L&N grew into a vital transportation link between the Gulf Coast and the nation’s heartland. It was eventually absorbed by the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, which subsequently became part of the Chessie System and, ultimately, today’s CSX. | CSX

GATOR UNDER ARREST: This suspicious prowler was seen lurking in the side yard of a Lakeland residence. Thankfully, he was quickly located, but yet, his prowlers roly-poly strength and gnashing teeth was too much for just one man.
