Feb 18, 2022 · In December 2016, the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees took the first step in becoming a District of Innovation and adopted a resolution that gave the Superintendent the authority to appoint a local innovation committee that would be responsible for developing an innovation plan for the district.

Current Dallas ISD students must obtain their transcript, academic records, etc. from their current campus. When a secondary student withdraws from the District, his or her record is maintained at the last school attended until the student has reached the age of 23 years (five years after his or her class graduates from high school).
