Projected rain in the Athens, Georgia area has moved up the start time of Oklahoma's matchup with Texas A&M in the SEC softball championship game

The 2025 SEC Softball Tournament has ended rather unceremoniously due to inclement weather in Athens, Georgia. The conference canceled the championship game and declared Oklahoma and Texas A&M co-champions.

Oklahoma was supposed to play against Texas A&M for the SEC Tournament Championship Game, but instead, weather canceled the game, making the teams co-champions.

LSU has a successful top 10 to 15 softball program every year, but impressions of the program have been impacted by how brutally hard the SEC is in the sport

Originally scheduled for 4 p.m. CT, SEC officials moved the game to noon in order to avoid inclement weather. But the weather came early.

Following its series win over No. 1 Oklahoma, Florida softball is building confidence at the right time heading into postseason. It's a team no one wants to see.
