A Cincinnati sheriff’s deputy was fatally struck by a car driven by the father of an armed 18-year-old man who was shot and killed by police a day earlier, authorities say.

A man who struck and killed a county deputy with his car on Friday is the father of a teenager who was shot and killed by a Cincinnati police officer a day earlier, police said. Authorities said the crash appeared to be intentional.

The crash came roughly two hours after the family reviewed the body camera footage of a police shooting in the Westview Condominiums' parking lot.
