Free agent signing Gary Harris and rookie power forward/center Bogoljub Markovic are the other two new additions, but otherwise the Bucks have been mostly re-signing their own free agents — aside from Brook Lopez, who departed for the L.A. Clippers.

Turner being eight years younger than Brook Lopez will allow him to impact the game differently, even if the two share similar strengths.

The Indiana Pacers made the choice to not re-sign Myles Turner. Instead of offering their longest-tenured player and franchise leader in blocks a good deal, they lowballed him. Turner then went to the Milwaukee Bucks and got a deal that he was happier with.
