Los Angeles Lakers president Rob Pelinka said he is having "positive" conversations with LeBron James' agent Rich Paul, and that it "would be great" if the superstar were to close out his NBA career with the Lakers.

Everyone knows the scoop by now. LeBron James is entering his final season under contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. He turns 41 in December. And his future has as much uncertainty as it has had in a while. Will he retire after the season? Will he go to a new team? Will he be traded sooner? Or will he somehow return to the Lakers?

Speaking to the media for the first time this offseason, Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations Rob Pelinka said it would be “great” if LeBron James were able to finish his career with the Lakers.
