Three-division world champion Julio César Chávez has defended his same-name son who was arrested by U.S. immigration agents outside his home in Los Angeles for overstaying his visa and lying on a green card application.

Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez defended his son following his arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ICE) in California last week.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr was arrested by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) days after his defeat to Jake Paul. The Mexican was taken into custody due to his outstanding warrant in Mexico and allegations that he's affiliated with the Sinaloa Drug Cartel.
