Twelve people were injured and 11 of those were taken to a hospital following a report of multiple stabbing victims at a men’s homeless shelter in Salem, Oregon, a police spokesperson said.

The attack, in which two shelter staff members were injured, does not appear to be targeted, the authorities said. A suspect was in custody.
