Tuesday marks Cleveland’s third game postponed due to weather this season, and second on the road. The club’s April 25 scheduled home game against Boston was rained out and made up as part of a doubleheader on April 26. A May 5 scheduled game in Washington, D.C. was made up as part of a doubleheader the following day against the Nationals.

Both of Tuesday's Guardians-Twins games – the resumption of Monday night’s (May 19) suspended game and the originally-scheduled 6:40 p.m. CT contest – have been postponed due to inclement weather. The two teams are now scheduled to begin play Wednesday,

The Twins, thanks to a RBI double by Willi Castro, led the Guardians 2-1 through three innings when the game was called around 9:10 p.m. because of rain.
