After earning her second-ever best actress Oscar nomination Thursday for playing Elphaba in the blockbuster "Wicked" movie, Cynthia Erivo got a second chance at an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT) sweep.

Erivo, who starred in the 2024 movie adaptation of “Wicked” alongside Ariana Grande, is bringing her pipes to the Mahaffey Theater on May 2 and Ruth Eckerd Hall on May 3. Both shows take place at 8 p.m. and will be conducted by the orchestra’s musical director, Michael Francis.
