Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem appointed new leadership at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Sunday as the agency struggles to meet President Donald Trump's stated goal of massive deportation operations aimed at immigrants in the U.

The app is now used as a system that allows people living illegally in the U.S. to announce they want to leave the country voluntarily.

The Customs and Border Patrol Home app will replace the controversial CBP One app that allowed migrants to request appointments if they lacked the proper documentation to legally enter the U.S.

The agency’s recent shuffle includes a new deputy director who led Louisiana’s Wildlife and Fisheries Department and is a former aide to the Homeland Security secretary.
