Complete NFL schedules will be released on May 14, but the league already announced that Philadelphia will open the season against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.

The Philadelphia Eagles were dominant last season, going 14-3 in the regular season to take the NFC East before following that up with a strong playoff run ending in a resounding Super Bowl 59 victory over the Chiefs.

The NFL is releasing its 2025 schedule on Wednesday, but a few special dates were released for the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the hated Dallas Cowboys in the NFL opener and have an NFC championship game rematch against the Washington Commanders on Dec. 20.
