A combined Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight killed at least 15 people — including an American citizen — and wounded scores of others, according to Ukrainian officials.

It was the deadliest attack on the Ukrainian capital in almost a year, and came as Moscow has intensified air assaults on the city.

KYIV: Russian strikes killed at least 14 people and wounded dozens in Kyiv in what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday (Jun 17) called "one of the most horrific attacks" on the capital.
