One person has died after a two‑alarm fire early Tuesday at a 10‑story high‑rise apartment building in southeast Washington.

The man was in serious to critical condition at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center after jumping from the multi-story building, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
