At a press event on March 21, Apple cut the price of the Apple Watch to $299 and introduced new nylon, leather, and Milanese band options.

The price cuts discount a variety of Apple Watch Series 8 styles, ranging from options with an aluminum case to stainless steel models with GPS + Cellular functionality.

So a price-cut, in and of itself, doesn’t tell us very much. Interestingly, though, in the case of the Apple Watch, Apple has not reduced the prices of the additional Watch bands it sells.
