Police have identified the suspect in Saturday's stabbing of 11 people at a Walmart in Michigan as 42-year-old Bradford James Gille. He is in custody in Grand Traverse County Jail and faces 11 counts of assault with intent to murder and one terrorism charge,
Bradford James Gille is 42 years old and a resident of Afton, Michigan. He has a prior criminal history and reportedly self-published a book last year.
"Regrettably, less than 24 hours after receiving this order, a tragic series of events occurred in Traverse City," the sheriff's office said.
Police are trying to determine why a man allegedly traveled downstate to Traverse City and stabbed 11 people inside a Walmart.
