The owner of Donald Trump-themed burger restaurants in Texas may be removed from the country after being detained by ICE earlier this year. Ronald Beaini, a Lebanese national who owns several Trump Burger locations in the Houston area, overstayed his visa and is going through immigration proceedings, ICE told KHOU in Houston.

Roland Mehrez Beainy, the 28-year-old owner of the Houston-area chain Trump Burger, was arrested by immigration officials in May and could eventually be removed from the country, a spokesperson for Immigration and Customs Enforcement told McClatchy News on Aug. 8.

An ICE spokesperson said the agency would enforce immigration law "regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have."
