The Saturday Night Live star publicly addressed for the first time her controversial The White Lotus parody of Wood on the April 12 episode with host Jon Hamm, telling Vanity Fair in a new interview that she felt "terrible" for insulting the season 3 breakout.
Sarah Sherman said she feels “terrible” about the recent Saturday Night Live sketch titled “The White Potus,” in which she impersonated The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the SNL comic said she never meant to offend Wood in the Season 50 sketch, which featured her wearing oversized fake buck teeth.
