In making the leap from the page to the screen as a 1990s-set adaptation that stretches the definition of “live-action” as much as some Disney’s modern-era remakes, The Electric State unfortunately falls short of matching the source material’s uniqueness and whimsy – despite boasting myriad talents both in front of the camera and behind it.

No, The Electric State does not have a post-credits scene. This isn't particularly surprising, as Netflix isn't really known for adding post-credits teases after the credits roll, as the streamer is usually too busy recommending which movie to watch next.

It’s become a fairly regular occurrence for Netflix’s movie schedule to feature A-list names, and the Russo Brothers’ The Electric State, one of the latest to hit the 2025 movie calendar, is no different.

Leave it to the Russo Brothers — who previously helmed Avengers movies Infinity War and Endgame — to make one of Netflix’s most expensive projects, The Electric State, starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt.

Netflix reportedly spent $320 million on The Electric State, and I think what they ended up with might be worse than if they’d just made a bad movie.
