The Phoenix Suns, who missed the playoffs despite having Kevin Durant and Devin Booker leading the way, are one of those teams. Mat Ishbia's arrival brought uber-aggressive transactions that didn't pan out, and now it seems Durant is on his way out with a trade this offseason.

"He is known to be very interested in playing in Houston," Kelly Iko and Sam Amick of The Athletic reported Monday. "Team sources said the Rockets still have significant reservations about that possible partnership, in large part, because Durant’s age (36) would be so out of sync with their younger timeline."

Recently, the Houston Rockets’ season came to an end with a Game 7 loss at home to the Golden State Warriors. Almost immediately, fans began speculating on trades to help out the Rockets’ half-court offense after the abysmal showing from Jalen Green in his first postseason appearance.
