SAN ANTONIO - A second wildfire has broken out near I-10 as crews continue to battle a massive blaze near Fredericksburg. Around 7:20 p.m. on Monday, the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office announced that a second blaze had begun near I-10 and Duderstadt, spanning 50 acres, which is now 20% contained.

Evacuations are underway in Gillespie County as a new wildfire spreads near I-10 in the area of Duderstadt Road.

Crews have continued to make progress as they worked to contain a fire in Gillespie County that sparked Saturday afternoon.

Fire crews in Gillespie County, along with the Texas A&M Forest Service, are continuing to battle a 9,858-acre wildfire north of Fredericksburg that sparked on Saturday afternoon. According to Gillespie County officials,
