Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa may have escaped the worst possible scenario after a scary collision on Thursday. The two Minnesota Twins players ran into each other as they both chased down a shallow pop fly against the Baltimore Orioles.

Carlos Correa exited the game immediately and was replaced by Jonah Bride. Byron Buxton stayed in for the remainder of the third inning but did not return for the fourth and was replaced by Ty France.

On a 0-2 count, Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins lifted a ball to short center. Correa ran out to make the play as Buxton charged in to make the catch. Buxton was able to snag the ball, but neither player was able to avoid a collision. Buxton and Correa bumped heads in the crash.
